Amanda and BriAnne just made me a birthday cake. What sweeties. I’m so blessed to have such good friends on my bday when I’m so far from home and would usually be millions of miles away eating dinner with my family. Thank you Lord for loving me.

- I am a Peace Corps education volunteer teaching in a primary school in rural Namibia. I have no elecetricity...seriously. I do have running water (praise God!) but do have to boil it for drinking and to bathe. Just trying to keep my head up and my sense of humor about me as I navigate life in the desert at the edge of the earth, otherwise known as Epukiro.
