I traveled five hours to Windhoek today. We drove. Just for the weekend to see friends, eat some Indian food, and see a movie. Crazy? Not when you live in Namibia.
I am a Peace Corps education volunteer teaching in a primary school in rural Namibia. I have no elecetricity...seriously. I do have running water (praise God!) but do have to boil it for drinking and to bathe. Just trying to keep my head up and my sense of humor about me as I navigate life in the desert at the edge of the earth, otherwise known as Epukiro.
